Ariel Gail

Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also Director of the Center for Public Policy Research. It is believed that she was the one responsible with establishing the current study of memory recall by eyewitnesses, and children as witnesses. Professor Goodman has published widely she has received grants from numerous sources and has been awarded many international and national distinctions. She has advised many government agencies and governments around the globe on policies and research relating to child victims by the legal system. She is also a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a part of many professional organizations including those of the Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychological Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56). Prof. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was President of the America Psychological Association's divisions: Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Children and Families Policy and Practice.
